Jon Elliston reports for the Carolina Public Press that Black Mountain College was investigated on a yoke of occasions past times the FBI during the 1950's prior to the closing of the establishment inwards 1957. Elliston reviewed of late declassified files together with notes that piece the Bureau ultimately concluded that no farther investigation was needed, the distraction no uncertainty contributed to the closing.
